The Zelda swords are replicas of the Master Sword—or Sword of Legends—and other blades from the series: versions from Skyward Sword and Tears of the Kingdom, Dark Link, daggers, and wooden swords. The Hylian shield and a few other collectibles round out the collection, designed for display, decoration, and cosplay.

Start with the game: each installment has offered its own take on the legendary sword, the Master Sword. The one from Skyward Sword features a stainless steel blade engraved with the Triforce and a sheath covered in embossed leather. The Deluxe Master Sword has a blade with a bluish tint and a blue faux-leather sheath; the Master Sword from Tears of the Kingdom the game's blue blade. The Black Edition and Dark Link's sword feature black designs.
Next, choose the material. Full-size steel swords, weighing between 1.35 and 2 kg, look the most authentic in a display case. Wooden swords, such as the Wooden Master Sword, feature a molded ABS guard and pommel: they’re lighter, making them ideal for cosplay. The’Princess Zelda's sword The Twilight Princess model, made of fiberglass, weighs 715 g and is 1.16 m long.
At the beginning of Tears of the Kingdom, the Legendary Sword is shattered by Ganondorf’s powers. Link sends the damaged blade back in time, where Zelda—transformed into a dragon—restores its sacred energy over the course of millennia; in the present, Link pulls it from the dragon’s skull. The corroded Legendary Sword and the blue-bladed Master Sword represent these two states of the blade.
L'Link's sword, with a 74-cm steel blade and a blue-lacquered wooden sheath, is often the first item in a collection. Fans of Tears of the Kingdom prefer the’Corroded legendary sword, with a blade that looks aged and is damaged at the tip. The Master Sword dagger with a blue blade, on the other hand, comes with a small stand. The Tranche-Vent sword The Breath of the Wild sword can be recognized by its blade, which is openwork in three places. To combine the sword and shield, select the metal Hylian shield or the Hylia's shield, made of resin.
The Legendary Sword did not exist in the first Zelda game, released in 1986: it first appeared in 1991, in A Link to the Past, where Link removes it from its pedestal in the Lost Woods. Skyward Sword later reveals its origin: it was originally the Divine Sword, left behind by the goddess Hylia, which Link purified in three sacred flames, and its spirit, Fay, remains dormant within it. The Triforce engraved just above the hilt has become its signature feature.
A life-size sword should be displayed on a wall mount or a stand suited to its length, at eye level, and protected from moisture and direct sunlight. The two shields hang on the wall and, together with the sword, make up Link’s armor set. Avoid touching the steel blades: the natural oils on your fingers can leave marks, which should be wiped off with a cloth lightly moistened with a little oil. Our guide How to Care for Your Collectible Replica Weapons explains each step in detail.
For your first Zelda prop, choose the Master Sword from the game that left the biggest impression on you—it’s the one you’ll recognize right away in the store window. For a Link cosplay, opt for a wooden version, which is lighter, along with a Hylian shield. Our life-size swords come with their sheaths but do not include a wall mount: measure the space where you plan to display it and make sure to order the mount before placing your order.
None: "Épée de légende" is the French name for the Master Sword, Link's sword. The collection features versions based on the game and finish: Skyward Sword, Tears of the Kingdom, corroded, deluxe, Black Edition, wooden, or dagger. Each product listing specifies the game it is based on.
Full-size swords range in total length from approximately 1 m to 1.26 m, with blades measuring 68 to 85 cm. The Corroded Legendary Sword measures 61.5 cm, and the daggers range from 29 to 45.5 cm. The exact dimensions and weight are listed on each product page.
The metal shield, measuring 38 × 53 cm, features the Triforce and the Celestial Bird, with a handle on the back and a wall hook. The resin and fiberglass shield, which is larger at 63 × 45.5 cm and weighs 3.1 kg, has a wall hook, a handle, and a Velcro strap for carrying it.
Metal replicas are restricted to adults. When transporting your sword, always keep it in its box or in a sheath; never carry it by hand on the street. At trade shows and conventions, metal is usually prohibited, and sometimes even wood: replicas are generally only allowed there for cosplayers during parades.
