The Ghost of Yōtei replicas recreate Atsu's swords and several Sword Kits from the game: the Twin Wolves, Sakura in Moonlight, Aranami's Claw, Gilded Dawn, and Gilded Night katanas; Atsu's Dual Katana; and the Omens of the Aurora nodachi. Steel blades and decorated scabbards: collectible pieces for display and cosplay.
Start with the format. The Sakura's Katana in Moonlight, l’Aranami's Claw and the Atsu's Dual Katana measure 103 cm, with a 440 stainless steel blade ranging from 64 to 67 cm, and weigh about 1 kg with the sheath. The nodachi Omens of the Aurora Measures 139 cm, including a 90 cm blade. Without a guard, the Gilded Dawn and Gilded Night are the lightest.
Next, choose the design: a wolf- or crane-shaped hilt, or a scabbard featuring cherry blossom petals, waves, the colors of the dawn, or origami cranes.
In Ghost of Yōtei, Sword Kits customize the appearance of Atsu’s swords without changing their stats. Many can be obtained by exploring the Pillars of the Fallen, hidden locations that reward the most curious players: this is the case with “Sakura in Moonlight” and “Aranami’s Claw.”.
Visit Katana Twin Wolves is the most intricately crafted piece: a steel guard featuring two intertwined wolves, metal ornaments on the scabbard, and a blade engraved with a wolf. The shirasaya, or «white scabbard,» is a Japanese scabbard made of unvarnished magnolia wood, without a guard or braiding. It was used to store a blade intended to remain unused for long periods, as the unvarnished wood provides better protection against moisture. The Gilded Dawn and Gilded Night models echo this silhouette, enhanced with gold accents.

If you’re just starting your Ghost of Yōtei collection, begin with a wolf-themed model—the symbol of the game: the Twin Wolves is the centerpiece. Then let the Sword Kits guide you: the poetry of Sakura in Moonlight, the waves of Aranami’s Claw, or the mystery of Omens of the Aurora, whose nodachi requires a 1.40-meter wall.
The nodachi is a large Japanese sword with a blade longer than that of a katana. "Omens of the Aurora" measures 139 cm, including a 90-cm blade, and weighs 1.3 kg with the scabbard, compared to 102 to 103 cm and approximately 745 g to 1 kg for the katanas in the collection.
The Gilded Dawn and Gilded Night are the lightest: 745 g with their sheaths, for a length of 102 cm. The other katanas weigh about 1 kg. Check the length on each product page and the convention rules before you go.
Metal replicas are restricted to adults. When transporting your katana, always keep it in its box or in a sheath; never carry it by hand on the street. At trade shows and conventions, metal replicas are usually prohibited, and sometimes even wooden ones: replicas are generally only allowed for cosplayers during parades.
