The choice depends first and foremost on what you're looking for. For a Lord of the Rings ring, the’Unique Ring A must-have: laser-engraved Elvish lettering, available in gold or silver finishes, two sizes. Fans of Aragorn will want to check out the Barahir's Ring, silver in color and adorned with a green crystal in the center. The 3 Elven Rings, Nenya, Vilya, and Narya, set with white, blue, and red zircons, are housed together in a box.
When it comes to pendants, the’Arwen's Evening Star, encrusted with crystal, measures 5.5 cm. The Leaf of Lórien comes in two versions: the Lórien Leaf Brooch, enamelled in green, measuring 6 × 4 cm, can be worn as a brooch or a necklace; the Lórien Leaf Pendant It measures 5.5 × 4 cm. A ring or pendant is easy to wear, while a brooch can also complement a suit.
Not all of the jewelry in The Lord of the Rings are Rings of Power. The Ring of Barahir, the Evening Star, and the Leaf of Lórien each have their own distinct identity. In Tolkien’s work, the Ring of Barahir features two serpents with emerald eyes, whose heads meet beneath a crown of golden flowers: a green color echoed by the crystal of its replica.
The One Ring is a great way to start a Middle-earth collection: compact and discreet, it lets you carry the saga’s most famous symbol with you. For fans of Aragorn and Arwen, pair Barahir’s ring with the Evening Star: a ring and a pendant rather than two rings of the same type. In 1785, a laborer found a Roman gold ring bearing the name Senicianus near Silchester, England. A tablet discovered before 1812 in the temple at Lydney links it to a theft: a certain Silvianus curses Senicianus on it until the ring is returned to him. In 1929, the site’s archaeologist consulted Tolkien about the name of the temple’s god. This ring may have inspired the One Ring; it has been on display at The Vyne Manor since 2013.
Before ordering, always check the dimensions, material, and—for a ring—the size listed on the product page. The Lórien Leaf Brooch has a secure clasp to prevent pricking yourself when you wear it as a necklace, and its chain can be removed so you can wear just the brooch.
When you’re not wearing your jewelry, store it in a dry place. Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, or household cleaning products to preserve its finish. For jewelry intended primarily for a collection, a small jewelry box or display case will protect it while showcasing it more effectively.
The One Ring and the Barahir Ring are available in US size 8 (French size 57.3) and US size 9 (French size 59.9). The French size corresponds to the finger circumference in millimeters: measure it with a piece of string or a ring you already wear. The availability of each size is listed on the product page.
Most are made of zinc alloy: Barahir’s ring, which is silver-plated; the Evening Star and the Lórien Leaf brooch, which are silver-plated; and the three Elvish rings. The One Ring is gold- or silver-plated, and the Lórien Leaf pendant is made entirely of metal. The stones are crystals or zircons.
Yes. The Evening Star comes with a 46-cm twisted chain, the Lórien Leaf pendant comes with a 50-cm chain with a lobster clasp, and the Lórien Leaf brooch comes with a 52-cm chain. The rings come in a pouch or a box.
Clean it with a sponge soaked in soapy water and sprinkled with a little baking soda, rubbing gently. Rinse with clean water, then dry with a very soft cloth. Like silver, this metal can oxidize when it comes into contact with skin or air: store it in a dry place, in its pouch or case.
