To begin with, theTiberius' sword is a Roman sword dating from the early 1st century, circa 16-17. Discovered in Mainz in 1848 during the construction of a railway line. In good condition, on display at the British Museum in London. Purchased by the collector Felix Slade, who bequeathed his collection to the British Museum in 1866. However, a replica is on display at the German-Roman Central Museum in Mainz. The name "Sword of Tiberius" was given to it because of a scene depicted on the scabbard. It shows the Roman emperor Tiberius seated on a curule chair, his left hand resting on a shield with the inscription "Felicitas Tiberi". Finally, this reproduction is made in India by Deepeeka.
