Made up of a hollow wooden handle, to the end of which an explosive charge is attached. Trigger mechanism activated by a cord located in the handle, closed by a screwed safety cap. Although containing the same explosive charge as the 1915 model, the new hand grenade designed under the Weimar Republic has slightly smaller dimensions.
