Bayonet M1 Garand<\/h2>\n

To start with, the M1 Garand Pacific model 1942 bayonet, a partial reproduction of the long bayonet mod 1905.<\/p>\n

A bayonet is a bladed weapon designed to fit the barrel of a rifle or similar weapon, and intended for close combat in the manner of a spear.<\/p>\n

The Geneva Convention forbids the use of serrated bayonets. The wounds they inflict are difficult to heal, and such weapons were considered inhumane. Yet it's not uncommon to find such models today.<\/p>\n

Please note that this bayonet is decorative and does not fit (barrel too short) the Garand M1 rifle. It's normal that the bayonet doesn't fit on the rifle. This is deliberate on Denix's part, because if it did, the rifle would be considered a real category A weapon.<\/em><\/p>\n
